Edward Ephraim & Ivet Kalish

Edward Ephraim Kalish. Biography.
I was born in Kazan, Russia in 1962. I received a Masters Degree in
Architecture in 1984. Then I took a course of design and graphics in Riga (Latvia). After that for several years I taught painting, graphics, architecture, and sculpture at the Academy of Architecture in Kazan.
In 1993 I discovered that the God of Abraham, Isaak and Jacob was also my
God, and this revelation changed my life.
In 1996 my wife and I moved to Israel. We live on one of the slopes of the mount Carmel in Haifa, in the area that was given to the tribe of Zebulun. We are members of the Messianic Synagugue "Tents of Mercy", were Eitan Shishkoff is the leader.
Since 1997 "Heroes of the Tanach" became the main theme of my work in sculpture and graphic with the help and assistance of my wife Ivetta.
I participated in Group Exhibits: 7th Jerusalem Judaica International Fair , "The Land of Israel" Gallery Tzafon Haifa , "Biblical Garden" Jerusalem Municipality, "Shavuot" Old City Jerusalem , "Tanach-Art" Gallery Tzafon Haifa.
There were also publications about my works in Russia , in Israel, Great Britain, and in the USA.
